PROCESSUS [ DÉMARCHE D'ARTISTE /// PROCESS [ ARTIST APPROACH
Ma pratique en art vidéo n'est jamais détachée de ma pratique de musicien [ compositeur. En effet, ma pratique en art vidéo se conceptualise > se réalise > se produit toujours en interrelation avec ma pratique de musicien [ compositeur. Autrement dit, il s'agit d'un processus faisant dialoguer le langage musical | le matériau musical AVEC CELUI du langage visuel | du matériau image, et vice versa. L'un ne va pas sans l'autre. Les deux langages dialoguent / s'interpénètrent. Ils s'activent mutuellement. Ils sont indissociables l'un de l'autre. Cette interrelation s'articule au regard des paramètres / aspects suivants : les rapports entre le rythme de mon matériau musical et le rythme de mon matériau image, la temporalité de mon matériau musical en dialogue avec la temporalité de mon matériau image, et vice versa, le grain de mon matériau image en écho au grain de mon matériau musical, et vice versa, le timbre de mon matériau musical en dialogue avec les caractéristique de mon matériau image, et vice versa, l'harmonie et son rapport avec diverses caractéristiques de mon matériau image, et vice versa, les textures de mon matériau musical en dialogue avec les textures de mon matériau image, et vice versa, la narrativité de mon matériau image et son influence sur mon matériau musical, et vice versa, etc. sont autant d'aspects travaillés dans le cadre de mon processus.
Mes matériaux images / les images en mouvement me permettant de conceptualiser > produire mon art vidéo proviennent de mes captations de différents lieux + de différents objets + de mes performances + etc.

My practice in video art is never detached from my practice as a musician [ composer. Indeed, my practice in video art is always conceptualized > realized > produced in interrelation with my practice as a musician [ composer. In other words, it is a process that creates a dialogue between musical language | musical material AND visual language | image material, and vice versa. One cannot exist without the other. The two languages interact / interpenetrate. They activate each other. They are inseparable from each other. This interrelationship is articulated in terms of the following parameters/aspects: the relationship between the rhythm of my musical material and the rhythm of my image material, the temporality of my musical material in dialogue with the temporality of my image material, and vice versa, the grain of my image material echoing the grain of my musical material, and vice versa, the timbre of my musical material in dialogue with the characteristics of my image material, and vice versa, the harmony and its relationship with various characteristics of my image material, and vice versa, the textures of my musical material in dialogue with the textures of my image material, and vice versa, the narrativity of my image material and its influence on my musical material, and vice versa, etc. These are all aspects that I work on as part of my process.
My image materials/moving images, which enable me to conceptualize and produce my video art, come from my recordings of different places, different objects, my performances, etc.
